HACAOT is currently working with Haitian schools to implement our education program that emphasizes a  Haitian-centered curriculum. Top students will be selected to participate and they will have access to every local educational resource, including  tutors. ,  Students in our program will also participate in internet classes that connect them   with  students their age and teachers  in the USA and around the globe.

Our local education director has been designated and waiting for Board approval confirmation. She is a graduate from Inter American University of Puerto Rico San German with a BA in education. She is the founder of an existing school located in Port Au Prince Haiti.

Our local Director candidate and her staff have been  actively involved in educating children in Haiti for the past 18 years.  Her experience as a teacher, her educational background and her love for the children of Haiti make her the most qualified and responsible director in charge of running our program. Our proposed approach is to work with local organization and professionals to make them more efficient.

HACAOT’s goal is to assist students from pre-Kindergarten through  high school and provide them with scholarships to attend world-class universities all over the world. In return we ask that each student make a commitment to serve their country in their field of learning for a minimum of  4 years.
